The Visual Arts at Saklan is an important part of our school-wide goal to develop creative, confident and independent learners. All students take classes in Art taught by specialist teachers and integrate art into other curricular areas. Students strive to create increasingly complex original works of art reflecting personal choices with increased technical skill in a variety of mediums. Students work with a range of materials, focusing on the development of skills in the areas of printmaking, drawing, design, painting and sculpture. Student art is showcased throughout the school and during the annual Art Show that takes place in the Spring.
