Below is an outline of what is required with each application. If you do choose to apply, please be sure to select the application for the correct school year (2026-27 for next fall). Once you have submitted an application, please confirm with the admissions office that it has been received.
Tuition Assistance is available to those families who are interested. We strive to provide fair and thoughtful offers that reflect our commitment to families in our school community. Please submit your financial assistance application through the Clarity portal. The deadline for the financial assistance application is January 23, 2026.
Visit The Saklan School
Learning more about the school prior to submitting an application is highly recommended. Virtual
Open Houses are scheduled during the admissions season. We will be scheduling school visits for applicants only in order to reduce the number of people on campus.
Applying to PS (3's)
- Submit an application online. This includes a $120 non-refundable application fee and a picture of the applicant.
- Preschool applicants must be 3 by the beginning of the school year (mid-August).
- Once the application is submitted, the admissions office will contact you to schedule an on-campus visit for the applicant (usually in January or February).
- We offer an Early Admissions Decision Round in which we can give you a decision in December!
Applying to Pre-K (4's)
- Submit an application online. This includes a $120 non-refundable application fee and a picture of the applicant.
- Pre-K applicants must be 4 by the beginning of the school year (mid-August).
- The online application for Pre-K requires that you give contact information for your child’s teacher to fill out a Teacher Recommendation Form.
- Once the application is submitted, the admissions office will contact you to schedule a campus visit for the applicant (usually in January or early February).
Applying to Kindergarten
- Submit an application online. This includes a $120 non-refundable application fee and a picture of the applicant.
- The online application for Kindergarten requires that you give contact information for your child’s teacher to fill out a Teacher Recommendation Form.
- Once the application is submitted, the admissions office will contact you to schedule a campus visit for the applicant.
Applying to 1st Grade
- Submit an application online. This includes a $120 non-refundable application fee and a picture of the applicant.
- The online application for 1st grade requires that you give contact information for your child’s teacher to fill out a Teacher Recommendation Form.
- Through the application portal, download the Records Release Form, sign and deliver to your child’s current school. They will send this to Saklan via email to [email protected].
- Once the application is submitted, the admissions office will contact you to schedule a half-day campus visit for the applicant.
Applying to 2nd-5th Grade
- Submit an application online. This includes a $120 non-refundable application fee and a picture of the applicant.
- The online application for these grades requires that you give contact information for two teachers to fill out a Teacher Recommendation Form.
- Next, through the application portal, download the Records Release Form, sign and deliver it to your child’s current school. They will send this to Saklan via email to [email protected].
- Once the application is submitted, the admissions office will contact you to schedule a full-day campus visit (8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) for the applicant.
Applying to Middle School (6th-8th Grade)
- Submit an application online. This includes a $120 non-refundable application fee and a picture of the applicant.
- The online application for Middle School requires that you give contact information for two teachers to fill out a Teacher Recommendation Form.
- Next, through the application portal, download the Records Release Form, sign and deliver to your child’s current school. They will send this to Saklan via email to [email protected].
- Part of the online application includes questions to be answered by the applicant.
- Once the application is submitted, the admissions office will contact you to schedule a full-day campus visit (8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) for the applicant.
Application Deadline
Please note, the priority application deadline for the 2026-2027 school year is
Friday, January 23, 2026. This is also the priority deadline to apply for
Tuition Assistance.
