The 2008-2009 Annual Giving Campaign

The 2008-2009 Annual Giving Campaign is underway with a goal of raising $180,000.

Tuition funds approximately 85%-90% of the operating budget; charitable giving bridges the gap between revenue and expenses. Gifts to Saklan are tax-deductible; tuition is not. Donations of time and resources may also qualify for corporate matching gifts. We do accept credit cards (think airline miles), and you also may pledge on-line using the Saklan website.

Fundraising is an integral part of financing an independent school education. The Saklan Valley School receives no financial support from the local, state or federal governments. Saklan, like most successful independent schools, relies on annual giving to cover operating expenses. Additional funds are critical in making it possible for Saklan to offer programmatic excellence, to continue the development and implementation of new programs, and to prepare your child for high school and beyond.
